Coach is an AI-powered career development platform designed to scale high-quality career support. It offers a structured set of career activities—delivered through real-time chat—tailored to the needs of learners, career advisors, and workforce programs.
Our Mission
Coach was created by CareerVillage.org, a nonprofit dedicated to democratizing career information and guidance for underrepresented people. Our mission is to ensure that every learner—regardless of background—has access to high-quality career support that helps them make informed, confident decisions about their future.
Our Impact
Since 2011, Careervillage has served more than 7 million learners from 190 countries with high quality, personalized career advice from 200,000 professionals.

From June 2023 to June 2024, a coalition of career development organizations helped shape the design of Coach, advising us and providing feedback on the tool’s development, connecting us with hundreds of educators and students to test the tool across diverse learning contexts, and sourcing high-quality career development resources for inclusion on the platform.
